Tarab is currently leading the research initiative with partners specialized in the field of heritage, on the history of Egyptian performance arts and the benefits of its cross-cultural dialogue across the Middle East and internationally. The goal is to have each unique type of dance or performance documented, preserved and re-presented to new audiences.
Tawtheek is our department for research, documentation, and eventually registration of Egyptian dance as a national intangible heritage in urgent need of safeguarding with Unesco.
